Cleaning Guide

Keep Your Alloy Wheels Looking Their Best

Regular cleaning doesn’t just keep your wheels looking great—it also helps prevent corrosion and extends their life. Follow this step-by-step guide to get the job done right.

What You’ll Need:

  • A non-acidic, alloy-safe wheel cleaner
  • Soft-bristled wheel brush or sponge
  • Microfibre cloths or towels
  • A bucket of clean water
  • (Optional) Wheel wax or sealant for added protection

Step-by-Step:

  1. Cool Down First: Park in the shade and let your wheels cool. Cleaning hot wheels can cause products to dry too fast and leave marks.
  2. Rinse Off Loose Dirt: Use a hose or pressure washer (on a low setting) to rinse away dust, grime, and debris.
  3. Apply Wheel Cleaner: Spray the cleaner generously over the entire wheel—spokes, rim, and inside barrel. Let it sit for the recommended time on the label.
  4. Gently Scrub: Use a soft brush or sponge to work the cleaner into every nook. Focus on stubborn spots, but avoid being too rough to prevent scratches.
  5. Rinse Thoroughly: Wash everything off with clean water, working from top to bottom so dirt doesn’t run back over cleaned areas.
  6. Dry with a Microfibre Cloth: Gently dry each wheel to prevent water spots. Use clean cloths only—grit or old residue can scratch your finish.
  7. (Optional) Add Protection: Finish with a wheel wax or sealant to help repel brake dust and road grime, making future cleans quicker and easier.
